Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has decided to reduce power cut hours to 3.5 hours a day, effective from Tuesday.

With the rise in the water level in different hydropower projects due to incessant rainfall, the load shedding was decreased, according to the NEA.

Earlier, the power outage was for five hours a day. -THT
