Thai police have arrested a Nepali national with a huge cache of narcotics from Chiang Mai International Airport in Thailand.
According to Thai media reports, the 22-year-old suspect was held with 34 kilograms of heroin on August 1 while he was trying to smuggle it to Malaysia.

His identity has not been disclosed.

English daily newspaper The Nation published from Thailand reported that 5 Lisu tribesmen were also arrested in connection with the smuggling. -THT
