KATHMANDU: Defeating Bangladesh 5-1 at the Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu on Saturday, hosts Nepal entered the finals of second SAFF U-16 Championships.

Sujan Limbu scored his second goal in the 59th minute, while Bimal Gharti and Sujan Limbu contributed one each in the first half.

A Bangladeshi defender scored a suicide goal at 56th minute to help Nepal build the 4-0 lead.

Taking advantage of the lapse in Nepal’s defense, Amir Tushar scored the consolation goal for Bangladesh in 65th minute.

KATHMANDU: Nepal are leading 3-0 against Bangladesh at the first half of their semifinal of the second SAFF U-16 Championships on Saturday.

In the match being played at the Dasharath Stadium, Sujan Limbu scored the first goal at 8th minute for the early lead.

Bimal Gharti added second one at 20th minute.

Likewise, Anjan Bista scored third goal at 23rd minute.

Supported by the home crowd, Nepali players completely dominated the field in the first half. -THT
