A woman has gone missing from Anakar VDC-3 in Mahottari district for the past three months.

Puja Singh (22) wife of Jitendra Singh of Mahadevpatti of Anakar VDC-3 has gone missing from February 24.

Laxmikanta Singh, grandfather of Puja, a resident of Sitamadhi of Bihar State of India had filed petition at the District Police Office, Mahottari, on February 26 to search his granddaughter but police could not be able to find her yet.

Whereas, maternal side of Puja has been coming frequently from 40 kilometers far from Indian village to search her.

The maternal side has blamed that their son-in-law had been giving pressure for the past six months to bring Rs. 50,000 Indian currency to buy a motorbike.

Maternal uncle of Puja, Sikendra Singh, said that Puja herself had frequently told through phone calls that her husband with his mother and sister had given torture to her.

Expressing suspicion that the family of Puja might have killed her, the maternal side has appealed to media persons to help them. -RSS
