: At least 2 were killed and over 30 others went missing after a boat they were riding capsized at Mainamaini of Udayapur district on Monday afternoon.
As many as 90 persons were on board the boat.
Talking to THT Online, District Police Office, Sunsari confirmed the casualties.
They were killed on the spot. Five survivors were rescued unhurt.
Massive search operation is underway, police said.
The overcrowded boat was heading to Udayapur from Chatara of Sunsari.
After the preliminary investigation, police have suspected heavy rain and waves caused the boat to capsize. -THT
