Legendary Bollywood actor Rajesh Khanna passed away on Wednesday after being critically ill for the last few months.He was 70.
Due to his poor health, he was rushed to hospital and kept in ventilator.
According to his family source, the funeral rites would be performed today.
He was last seen in Havell’s fan ad directed by filmmaker R Balki.
He is survived by his former wife Dimple Kapadia and daughters Rinke and Twinkle, who is married to Bollywood action hero Akshay Kumar.
He used to be a member of Parliament for the Congress Party, from the New Delhi constituency, where he won in 1992.
He was born on 29 December 1942, Amritsar, Punjab, India.
He made his film debut in Chetan Anand’s Aakhri Khat in 1966.
Aradhana, Anurodh, Anand, Swarg, Amar Prem are some of the hit movies of him.
He was an adopted son of his parents.
